Republic of Korea National Flower Festival

The 2026 Korea Chrysanthemum Festival will be held against the backdrop of the chrysanthemums—a symbol of autumn in Hampyeong—and the region’s beautiful natural surroundings. Under the theme “Mythical Chrysanthemum Garden,” this year’s festival will showcase large-scale chrysanthemum installations and a variety of chrysanthemum bonsai works, presenting a vibrant autumn landscape filled with a kaleidoscope of colors. In particular, alongside the chrysanthemum exhibits, the festival will feature a variety of cultural events, performances, and hands-on activities that allow visitors to fully savor the autumn atmosphere, providing a special experience where families, couples, and tourists can enjoy themselves and linger together. Through this festival, which blends beautiful chrysanthemums, culture, and hands-on activities, the event aims to widely promote Hamyeong’s autumn and showcase the beauty of chrysanthemums and the unique charm of Hamyeong’s festival to the entire nation.
