Seoul Silver Grass Festival

The Seoul Silver Grass Festival is a premier autumn eco-cultural festival held in the Sky Park (World Cup Park) area since 2002. Now in its 25th year, it is held under the theme “Silver Grass: Comfort from Nature.” As Seoul’s premier autumn festival, attracting some 700,000 visitors annually, it offers a chance to experience the autumn ambiance of silver grass. The festival features a variety of programs, including a lighting show where music and colorful lights blend with the silver grass, a “Garden of the Five Senses,” and hands-on activities such as making silver grass bouquets, as well as a resource recycling market and cultural performances like busking. Notably, a resource recycling market will be introduced for the first time this year, and visitors will also be able to admire the silver grass, pampas grass, and the gardens preserved from the International Garden Expo within Sky Park.

Opening Ceremony - A lighting show marking the start of the 25th Seoul Silver Grass Festival, followed by performances by the show choir group “Harmonize” and the Seongmisan Orchestra, among others 2. Lighting Show - A lighting show blending music with colorful lights, offering a unique visual experience at the festival grounds after dark 3. Gardens for the Five Senses - Gardens within the festival grounds designed to be experienced with all five senses, including a “Garden of Comfort” featuring crimson-tinged pampas grass and a “Garden of Hope” with pampas grass sculptures to help visitors bring the year to a close on a positive note 4. Photo Zones and Wish Zones - Photo zones located throughout the Seoul Silver Grass Festival grounds where visitors can take commemorative photos, and a “Wish Zone” where visitors can write down and hang their wishes 5. Busking Performances - Busking performances across various genres taking place in the busking zone on the central stage 6. Resource Recycling Market [Re-born Market] - A market featuring hands-on experiences and sales of upcycled products made from recycled materials, such as planters made from recycled containers, permaculture produce, and silver grass and other grasses *Featuring 15 sellers (per day) selected through an open call across categories such as “Earth Gardeners,” “Earth Farmers,” and “Circular Creators” 7.
