Jeongseon Arirang Festival

The Jeongseon Arirang Festival is Jeongseon County’s flagship cultural and tourism festival, held to preserve and promote the history, cultural value, and traditions of Jeongseon Arirang, one of Korea’s most representative folk songs. The festival aims to widely promote the value of Arirang, which is inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and is organized as an event that all generations can enjoy together through a variety of content, including performances, parades, hands-on programs, exhibitions, and cultural and artistic events that harmonize tradition and modernity.
