About
The 2nd Gangneung Bread Festival is a hands-on culinary festival where visitors can enjoy Gangneung’s unique breads alongside the tranquil atmosphere of Ojuk Hanok Village. It will be held at Ojuk Hanok Village for three days, from October 9 to 11, 2026, offering visitors the chance to sample a wide variety of breads presented by local pastry and bakery shops all in one place. In addition to bread exhibitions and sales, the event will feature a variety of activities, including hands-on programs, performances, and events open to people of all ages. The festival grounds are thoughtfully designed so visitors can stroll through the Hanok Village while sampling bread and creating lasting memories with family, partners, and friends. Held under the theme “A Stroll Through the Hanok Village Following the Scent of Bread,” this festival aims to promote Gangneung’s pastry and baking culture and provide a space where local businesses and visitors can come together. It is a festival where visitors can enjoy delicious bread, traditional settings, and cultural experiences all at once in Gangneung this fall.
