About
The “5th Gunwi Samguk Yusa National Family Walking Festival with Ingaksa Temple” is a walking event held in Gunwi—the birthplace of the *Samguk Yusa*—where participants can experience the region’s history and nature while walking with their families. Now in its fifth year, this event is held in collaboration with Ingaksa Temple—part of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism and known as the site where *Samguk Yusa* was written—and is designed to promote the historical significance of *Samguk Yusa* as well as Gunwi’s cultural and tourism resources through walking. Participants can enjoy the autumn atmosphere with family, friends, and partners as they walk along a trail designed to showcase the natural scenery around Ingaksa Temple. Alongside the walking festival, the event venue will feature celebratory performances by guest singers Hong Won-bin, Park Seo-jin, and Kim Tae-yeon, as well as various on-site programs for participants. As a family-friendly event where history, culture, nature, and performances can all be experienced in one place, it aims to promote a healthy leisure culture through walking and to highlight the cultural value of Gunwi and the *Samguk Yusa*.
