2026 Local Ground Yeonnam

Local Ground Yeonnam is a local cultural festival set against the backdrop of Yeonnam-dong’s alleys and local commercial district. The event connects Yeonnam-dong’s unique spaces, shops, and cultural offerings into a single festival, providing visitors with a new experience of walking through, lingering in, and enjoying every corner of the alleys. It goes beyond a mere spectator festival by featuring a diverse array of activities—including flea markets, busking performances, hands-on programs, and special events—that naturally bring local shops and visitors together. In particular, the festival aims to create an urban alley festival that anyone can comfortably enjoy by combining Yeonnam-dong’s free-spirited and trendy atmosphere with the picnic culture centered around the Gyeongui Line Forest Trail. Through this, the event offers visitors the opportunity to discover new charms of Yeonnam-dong while providing local shops with opportunities for new visits and sales. Through this festival—where local spaces, people, commercial districts, and culture come together—the event aims to promote Yeonnam-dong’s unique local culture and breathe new life into the neighborhood’s commercial district.
