Gwangmyeong Cave Light Festival

The 4th Gwangmyeong Cave Light Festival in 2026 is an interactive light festival held in the Gwangmyeong Cave area. Under the theme “Forest of Light, Awakening Life,” this year’s festival creates a space where light and life harmonize, and is designed to allow citizens and visitors to enjoy and participate in a variety of activities together. During the festival, events such as the opening ceremony, a drone light show, and various performances will take place, along with programs where visitors can actively participate, including hands-on activities, exhibitions, and a market. The event venue will feature a main stage and media displays, as well as hands-on booths, environmental campaign booths, and rest areas; a food zone will also be set up for food sales and dining. The festival is designed so that residents and visitors can enjoy the event and reflect on the value of nature and the environment through attractions, performances, and hands-on activities that utilize the unique spatial characteristics of Gwangmyeong Cave and light.
