Subongsan Festival

Launched in 2021, the Subongsan Festival is a signature cultural festival in Incheon’s Michuhol District—a tourism-focused event where visitors can enjoy both the natural scenery of Subongsan Mountain and a diverse array of cultural and artistic experiences all in one place. The festival features a variety of programs designed to help residents and tourists visiting Mount Subong spend a special time together, enjoying performances, exhibitions, hands-on activities, and food amidst nature. The festival features performances by local artists and guest appearances by popular artists, as well as music across a variety of genres. It also offers a wealth of activities, sights, and culinary delights, including family-friendly hands-on programs, an art flea market, permanent exhibitions, and a food zone. In particular, the outdoor performances set against the backdrop of Mount Subong’s historical significance and beautiful natural environment are a unique attraction of the Mount Subong Festival, allowing visitors to fully enjoy both nature and culture right in the heart of the city.

1. Main Program - Stage performances by local artists, university clubs, and performers (Ailee, Byun Jin-seop, Kim Hyun-jung) 2. Side Programs - Forest Movie Theater, Art Flea Market, Street Performances (clowns, cosplay), Eco-QR Photo Zone 3. Hands-On Programs - Pen decoration, canvas painting, making Io-nansa stands, resource recycling activities, woodworking crafts, and other hands-on activities in collaboration with agencies (departments), as well as policy promotion 4. Food Zone - Café booths in collaboration with the Senior Workforce Development Center and food truck operations
