About
Building on the diverse reading cultures and communities within Jung-gu discovered at the 2025 festival, the 2026 Jung-gu Book Festival opens its second chapter by connecting these communities and expanding the relationships within the city. Chapter 2, “Connecting with One Another,” is a festival that interprets Jung-gu—where stories have accumulated over time—as if it were a single book. By tracing the time layered in the alleys, the memories lingering in the historic downtown, the lives of its people, and the emotions embraced by the community, it rediscovers and connects the stories that already exist within Jung-gu. This festival creates a space where books serve as a medium to connect people with one another, places with memories, and the city with reading culture, offering an opportunity to share the depth of Jung-gu’s stories and the potential of its reading culture.
