About
Since 2005, Anyang City has been transforming the entire city into an open-air art museum by installing public artworks in the city’s beautiful forests and streams, everyday spaces, and along roadsides through the Anyang Public Art Project (APAP). This is a tour program where participants walk through Anyang Art Park, the beautiful forests and streams of the Pyeongchon area, and parks in the city center and neighborhood parks accompanied by an art guide to appreciate public artworks from the first through seventh editions of APAP, which began in 2005. It shares stories about various public artworks—including paintings, sculptures, architecture, design, and performances—that embody Anyang’s history and urban culture.
