Colorful Garden: Jara Island Flower Festival

The Flower Festa will be held on Jara Island in Gapyeong from September 12 to October 5, 2026. Visitors can admire a vibrant array of fall flowers at the event venue, and busking and performances by local artists will take place on weekends and public holidays. There will also be hands-on programs, such as balloon art, that families with children can enjoy, as well as booths selling local agricultural specialties and snack food stalls. Of the 7,000 won admission fee, 5,000 won will be refunded in the form of local currency, which can be used not only at booths within the event venue but also at restaurants and cafes in the area. In addition, boat tours offering views of the beautiful North Han River waterfront are available, and electric shuttles run back and forth from the Jarasum entrance to the event venue, allowing visitors to enjoy a more convenient and special trip. Discounts at major tourist attractions and local businesses will also be offered to Flower Festa ticket holders.
