Gumi Food Festival

Launched in October 2022, this Gumi City food festival was created to comfort citizens and small business owners who had struggled through the long, dark tunnel of the COVID-19 pandemic while wearing masks, and to breathe new life into the local economy. Feeling the pleasant autumn breeze, many citizens gathered at Songjeong Matgil (Gwangpyeong Parking Lot in Songjeong-dong) in the heart of downtown Gumi. In this lively and romantic setting, families, couples, and friends enjoyed delicious food and entertaining performances, sharing moments of laughter. Featuring the widest selection of over 200 menu items, it offers a diverse array of Gumi’s culinary delights, and with a variety of activities prepared for children, it is one of Gumi City’s premier festivals that appeals to all age groups.
