The 2026 Yeongcheon Korean Medicine Festival, marking its 24th edition, is a Korean medicine cultural festival to be held from October 2 to 4, 2026, in the Yeongcheon Riverside Park area. In Zone D, near the Yeongcheon Cultural Center, the festival will feature Korean medicine health consultations and hands-on experiences, medicinal cuisine, Korean medicine crafts, and family-friendly play and relaxation areas. This event introduces traditional Korean medicine culture through health consultations and hands-on experiences led by traditional Korean medicine doctors, as well as the K-MEDI wellness program based on traditional Korean medicine. The festival will also feature traditional Korean herbal tea tastings, workshops on making herbal sachets, skin care, beauty, and healing experiences, as well as family-friendly craft and DIY programs. The venue will feature the K-MEDI Health Experience Zone, the DHU Traditional Korean Medicine Wellness Zone, the Yeongcheon Herbal Medicine Market Zone, the Traditional Korean Medicine Herbal Cuisine Zone, and the Traditional Korean Medicine Picnic Garden. A mission tour, where visitors explore the experience zones, and a gift giveaway event are also in the works. Designed to offer a seamless experience ranging from health consultations to hands-on activities, food, and relaxation, the festival is planned to allow visitors of all ages to experience Yeongcheon’s traditional Korean medicine resources.
