The Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe’s regular performances have been a signature cultural event of Anseong City since 2003. The 2026 regular performance by the Anseong City Namssadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe, titled “Gombang-i Tteotta,” is a show that, under the subtitle “The Excitement of the Marketplace, “Shaking Up Gyeongbokgung Palace!” It presents a modern reinterpretation of the six traditional scenes—the essence of Namsadang performances. The show runs for approximately 90 minutes every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Anseong Namsadang Performance Hall. It is packed with diverse attractions, including lively traditional percussion music featuring the taepyeongso and kkwaenggari, “Eoreum” (tightrope walking) with breathtaking acrobatics and witty banter performed on a 3-meter-high rope, “Buna” (spinning bowls), and “Salpan” (acrobatic floor routines).

- Main Program: Pungmul Troupe Performance Anseong Namsadang Nori: 6 Acts (Pungmul, Eoreum, Bona, Salpan, Deotbbeogi, Deulmi) ▸(Pungmul) Composed of lively rhythms and dance movements using instruments such as the taepyeongso, kkwaenggwari, jing, janggu, buk, and sogo ▸(Eoreum) A humorous performance featuring spectacular acrobatics and witty banter on a rope 3 meters high and 10 meters long ▸(Buna) A feat involving spinning objects such as a spinning wheel or a bowl using a cherry wood stick or a tobacco pipe ▸(Salpan) Acrobatics similar to tumbling, utilizing the body ▸(Deotbbeogi): A mask play, whose name derives from the act of “putting on a mask” (deotbon) ▸(Deolmi): A traditional Korean puppet show named after the practice of manipulating puppets carved from wood by holding them by the nape of the neck
