Yeonsu Neungheodae Cultural Festival

The “2026 14th Yeonsu Neungheodae Cultural Festival” is a cultural festival of unity that honors the historical significance of Neungheodae—from which ancient Baekje envoys set sail with a spirit of challenge and enterprise—and shares that spirit with the residents of Yeonsu District today. In addition to the “Baekje Envoy Parade,” which represents Yeonsu District, a variety of programs are organized for residents to participate in. Abundant accompanying events—such as the District Residents’ Day awards ceremony, celebratory performances by popular entertainers, and fireworks displays—along with hands-on experience booths, offer the unique joys exclusive to the Neungheodae Festival. In particular, this year will feature the largest-ever drone light show, with over 2,000 drones illuminating the night sky. Under the theme “Neungheodae: A Voyage of Light,” the event will use cutting-edge media technology to reinterpret the history of maritime exchange that originated from the ancient Neungheodae and the significance of a global voyage toward the world, presenting a spectacular display of light.
