About

"Changgyeonggung Night Banquet" is a family-friendly evening palace banquet program that offers a modern reinterpretation of the banquet Crown Prince Hyomyeong hosted for his father, King Sunjo, as an expression of his profound filial piety. Participants will take on the roles of civil and military officials and members of the royal household from the Joseon Dynasty, donning traditional court attire to attend the banquet. Together with their families, they will sample royal court confections, watch traditional performances, and participate in a variety of traditional hands-on activities. In 2026, the event will take place for a total of 20 days: May 7 (Thu) – May 17 (Sun) in the first half of the year, and September 24 (Thu) – October 4 (Sun) in the second half.
