With the slogan “Puppet Theater Connecting Cities and People: A Cultural Festival Created by Everyone on the Streets of Jeonju,” the 6th Jeonju Street Puppet Theater Festival is a distinctive arts festival that offers children, families, residents, and tourists unique enjoyment and special cultural experiences through diverse artistic expressions utilizing puppets as a medium. Held at the Omokdae Traditional Garden and the Puppet Theater Experience Center in Jeonju Hanok Village, the 6th Jeonju Street Puppet Theater Festival offers tourists visiting the Hanok Village a unique children’s K-culture tourism experience through distinctive puppet theater performances and hands-on programs.
