About

The 2026 Inje Autumn Flower Festival commemorated the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet Park In-hwan, a leading figure in Korean modernist poetry, and added a special touch by creating unique gardens that blend literary sensibility with vibrant autumn blooms. The festival’s most distinctive feature is the opportunity to admire a variety of autumn flowers while experiencing the lingering literary resonance in spaces that offer a modern reinterpretation of the poet’s romanticism. The festival grounds are colorfully organized into themed paths. Starting with the “Path to Happiness”—featuring the Park In-hwan Romantic Garden, a flower rest area, and the Good Luck Observation Deck—followed by the “Path to Love” with its wildflower garden and chrysanthemum bonsai exhibition hall, and the “Communication Path” with its cozy waterside walking trail and “Slow Mailbox”—all perfect for a leisurely autumn stroll. On the “Healing Path,” visitors can stroll through the Forest Café and the Artist and Community Gardens, and enjoy nature-based experiential programs such as tree climbing, treehouses, the Toddler Forest, and bookmark-making. There’s also plenty to eat and do: the “Well-Being Market” features local agricultural products and chrysanthemums for sale, along with various hands-on craft activities, food trucks, and lively performances. Added to this are a variety of events—such as a flower path stamp tour, a sketching contest, and a rock-paper-scissors tournament—making for the perfect fall outing. Admission is free, though some hands-on programs require a fee.
