About
The 26th Yongin Cyber Science Festival is a science event hosted by Yongin Special Self-Governing City and will take place over two days, from October 3 to October 4, 2026. The event will be held at Yongin Mir Stadium, and operating hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The main exhibits and hands-on activities are organized around four themes: “Exploring Future Technologies,” “Future Lifestyle Workshop,” “Yongin: City of the Future,” and “Protagonists of Future Science.” The detailed program includes robotic arm demonstrations, humanoid robot and drone piloting, test drives of future mobility vehicles, and VR simulator experiences. It also features carbon-neutral energy science experiments, the creation of smart gadgets using Arduino and 3D pens, and hands-on experiences with “Bomi,” a care-giving AI robot. Furthermore, the festival features exhibitions of the latest technologies from local companies and institutions—including Samsung Electronics—as well as booths run by local elementary, middle, and high school science clubs, a drone soccer class, and hands-on experiences with “Joayong” character-themed science kits.

Hands-On and Exhibition Programs - Yongin: City of the Future: 13 promotional and hands-on booths featuring local companies and organizations - Heroes of Future Science: 11 groups from local elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as universities - Exploring Future Technologies: 15 hands-on activities featuring AI, robots, drones, and more - Future Lifestyle Workshop: Hands-on activities to make semiconductors and LED mood lights 2. With Humanoid Robots - Robot Soccer: 2-on-2 robot soccer matches, robot vs. audience ball-stealing games, etc. - Photo Zone: Attracting visitors and taking photos at the photo zone - Audience Interaction: Circulating around the venue to greet visitors and play games 3. AR Joa-yong - Taking photos with AR Joa-yong and collecting stamps - Providing souvenirs to participants (5 types, approximately 2,000 items) 4. Rest Area - A space for rest and play that highlights the science festival’s unique features - Bean bag chairs, a block play area, and Joa-yong block sculptures, etc. 5. Stage Performances - Robot dance performances & audience participation games
