Hongseong Namdang Port Giant Shrimp Festival

The 31st Hongseong Namdang Port Large Shrimp Festival is Hongseong’s premier fall food festival, where visitors can enjoy the pristine waters of Cheonsu Bay and fresh, in-season large shrimp. Held at Namdang Port—a premier culinary destination on the West Coast—this festival offers visitors the chance to savor plump, in-season shrimp while enjoying the port’s beautiful seaside scenery, along with a variety of performances and entertainment. The 2026 festival will be held in the Namdang Port area from September 4 to November 8, with opening performances taking place from September 4 to 6 and Chuseok performances scheduled for September 25–26. The opening and Chuseok performances will feature a diverse lineup of performers, including Bin Ye-seo, Park Hyun-bin, Jang Do-hyun, Yoo Do-hyun, Kim Jung-ah, and Kim Seo-yeon, who will add to the festive atmosphere. Namdang Port is a premier tourist destination in Cheonsu Bay, renowned not only for its giant river prawns but also for an abundance of other seafood, such as horse mackerel. During the festival, visitors can enjoy fresh seafood and local cuisine while taking in the beautiful sunsets over the West Sea. It is Hongseong’s premier fall festival, where families, couples, and friends can enjoy food, performances, and ocean views all in one place.
