*The food offerings listed below are from last year’s (2025) festival; details for the 2026 festival are currently being updated.* The 31st Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival is a historical and cultural festival centered on prehistoric culture, held in the Amsa-dong area of Gangdong-gu, Seoul. Centered on the Seoul Amsa-dong Site—a representative Neolithic archaeological site in Seoul—the festival aims to raise awareness of prehistoric lifestyle and cultural heritage. The festival is designed to allow visitors to directly experience and understand Neolithic culture through hands-on prehistoric cultural activities, exhibitions, performances, and participatory programs. It is a festival where local residents and visitors participate together through various programs that utilize historical sites and local cultural resources. It serves as a platform to promote Gangdong-gu’s cultural identity, introduce the historical tourism resources of the Amsa-dong area, and share the significance of prehistoric culture.

1. Official Events - Opening and closing ceremonies, main performances, celebratory performances, drone shows, fireworks displays, etc. 2. Experiences and Exhibitions - Prehistoric BBQ Experience, Time Slip Handcrafted Market, Neolithic Archaeology Experience School, Media Facade, exhibitions linked to the Night Light Festival, etc. 3. Side Events - Gangdong Prehistoric Singing Contest, performances by local artists, food market, etc.
