About

The 2026 Gyeonggi Ceramics Biennale, organized by the Korea Ceramic Foundation, is Korea’s premier international ceramics culture and arts event. It is a cultural festival taking place from September 18 to November 1, 2026, in the Icheon, Yeoju, and Gwangju areas of Gyeonggi Province. Under the theme “Earth Makes,” this Biennale is an event that showcases the new possibilities and values of ceramics created through the interplay of clay, nature, technology, and art. In addition to international exhibitions, competitions, academic programs, and international workshops, a variety of other events are planned, including the Kids Biennale, hands-on programs, a Craft Festival, a Ceramics Market, and the “Traveling Biennale.” Furthermore, as a cultural and arts festival involving local residents, domestic artists, and tourists alike, the event is designed to allow visitors to experience ceramic culture throughout Gyeonggi Province.
