About

*The following information about festival food is from the previous year’s (2025) festival; details for the 2026 festival are currently being updated.*The 2026 Yeoju Ogok Naru Festival is a traditional cultural festival held against the historical backdrop of Yeoju’s agricultural specialties—such as rice and sweet potatoes—being presented to the king via the Jopo Landing during the Joseon Dynasty. Major programs include the Tribute Parade, Yeoju Rice Bibimbap made in a cauldron, the Guinness World Record for Roasted Sweet Potatoes, the Wishing Strip, and the Firework Display. The festival also features sales of agricultural specialties, food stalls, traditional cultural experiences, and performances. At the festival grounds, visitors can explore a variety of agricultural specialties produced in Yeoju, and the event features traditional cultural experiences, performances, and family-friendly programs. Additionally, after sunset, nighttime programs such as the Firework Display create a festive atmosphere distinct from that of the daytime.
